Reasons to be in, or get photos with your dog this year

If I can pass along a little piece of wisdom for all my dog-loving friends right now, it's that you need to get those photos with your "Fur"-ever friend.

No matter where you and your dog are at on your journey through life, our beloved pets are part of the family, why not treat them as such! Give yourself and your family the gift of your lovely pet with a fun story telling shoot! Here's some reasons why you need to be in photos with your dog this year:

  1. Your pet is part of your family

We all take professional pictures with our family and friends, why not honor your beloved pet with a quality shoot as well? When you book a photo sesion with me, we're going to tell their story together. We can pick a place that they love and feel comfortable to be in where they can do their favorite things, and we're going to capture it all through pictures. We take photos of our friends and family all the time, it only makes sense to do the same with your pups at home. And most importantly YOU! You're a vital part in their lives, so you being in the picture with them only captures and shows the bond that the two of you have. Our precious pets are only in our lives for a limited amount of time, allow me to capture those precious moments that will last you a lifetime. Whether your pets are getting older or you just want to capture those precious puppy moments we all know to love and hate at the same time. These photos will have you feeling nostalgic and grateful that you chose to have a pet photoshoot.

2 Capture your bond.

Lets be honest, how many pictures of JUST your dog do you have on your phone? Hundreds? Not gonna lie I have them to. But how many pictures do you have of both you AND your dog? And im not talking selfies here. With both of you in the frame we will get some posed, and some candids, to really show how the two of you connect on a deeper level. No more having to worry about getting you in the frame of the selfie while trying to get your dog to look and stand still, leave that to me!

3 The Puppy Stage.

We all melt when we look at a photo of a puppy. It's the most wholesome thing ever and we all wish we could have a puppy again.(Without actually having to go through the puppy training and their constant need to chew on things). You may of had a puppy once, but you barely remember it because puppies grow SO FAST! those playful, cuddly puppies will grow up fast. You'll want to capture these moments so that you can remember it for when your four legged friend becomes and adult, and eventually a senior. This is the most inoccent stage of your pets life, so why not frame it!

4 Dogs don't last forever.

We wish they could be with us forever. Unfortunately, our dogs cant tell us how they feel and they can take a turn for the worst at any given moment. No one is ever ready for this, it's great to get these photo opportunities in before it's to late, but why not get a new photo shoot done with them every couple of years so you'll have something to show and illustrate your whole lives together. Once you capture these moments with your friend, you'll have them forever. We all look back at pictures when we feel nostalgic: photos of when we were kids, when we all had that big family vacation, our wedding day. Only the photo is proof that that day existed and that we lived in it. Photos tell a story of our life. And dogs are our life too. They grow up with us, they've seen you at your lowest as well as your highest, they share everyday with us. Pets are very much our family, and family in any form is truly one of a kind.

If having photos taken with your dog has EVER crossed your mind, today is the day to schedule that. Having those pictures of both you and your dog can show your growth together as you look back on them over the next couple years. Please don't wait, I can't say I've ever heard of someone saying "I wish I never got my picture taken with my dog".
